Zepoxy Tabletop Deep Pour
Zepoxy Tabletop Deep Pour is a retarded clear epoxy casting system, which offers a long open time for precise article placement and complete bubble removal. It has inbuilt UV inhibitors as well as excellent visual properties. It also avoids high exothermic reaction and the resulting shrinkage after curing.

TECHNICAL DATA
Property | Test Method | Result |
---|---|---|
Appearance Part A | Visual | Low viscosity, clear liquid |
Appearance Part B | Visual | Low viscosity, clear liquid |
Mix ratio (Part A: Part B) | Theoretical | 100: 50 |
*Pot life (300g mass) @30°C | - | 7h 30m |
*Pot life (300g mass) @45°C | - | 1h 13m |
*Flash Point | ASTM D 93 | >150°C |
*Coverage per KG | Theoretical | 1 SFT @ 10mm thick |
Recommended pouring thickness1 | - | 0.5 inch – 1 inch (above 5 kg pour) |
*Re-cast time | - | 24h-72h |
These are typical results under laboratory conditions.
1If pouring thickness is exceeded it may result in yellowing, bubble entrapment and/or cracking.
1.5 KG mass @ 2.5 inch thick | 40 KG mass @ 1 inch thick | |
*Gel time @ 22°C | 6 hours | 2.5 hours |
*Hardening time | 24 hours | 24 hours |
*Full Cure | 7 days | 7 days |
These are typical results under laboratory conditions.
CURED SYSTEM PROPERTIES
Property | Test Method | Result |
---|---|---|
*Flexural Strength | ASTM D 790 | NA |
*Compressive Strength - Yield | ASTM D 695 | 72.0 MPa |
*Compressive Strength - Ultimate | ASTM D 695 | 83.3 MPa |
These are typical results under laboratory conditions.
NOTE:
At higher mixing quantities please ensure epoxy is poured soon after mixing and that the thickness of 1 inch is not exceeded. At every 8°C temperature increase working time will be reduced to half, pouring should be planned accordingly.
MIXING
The mixing ratio must be accurately followed to achieve perfect results. It is not possible to change the ratio which would result in the epoxy not drying properly and lower mechanical properties. Pour the hardener first and then the resin. The mixed components should be thoroughly but slowly mixed for 3-4 minutes to ensure an even consistency.
