Ressi TA 2K

Ressi TA 2K is a two component, high performance, latex modified, cementitious tile adhesive. It is highly water resistant with excellent bonding strength. Ressi TA 2K is recommended where high-quality adhesive is required for the fixing of tiles, marbles, granites, etc. Usage areas include kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools, external cladding, etc. It can be used for the fixing of large sized tiles, marbles & granite. Suitable mechanical supports can be given for large format tiles.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces should be clean and free from standing water, grease, curing compounds, mold oils and loosely adhering particles. Cement laitance should be removed by mechanical means. Roughen surfaces will aid in better adhesion. Saturate the surface with clean water prior to the application of Ressi TA 2K.

MIXING

Part A (Liquid) should be mixed with Part B (Powder) using a slow speed drill machine with paddle until a uniform lump free consistency is achieved.

APPLICATION

Mixed material should be spread on the prepared substrate at a thickness of 3mm to 5mm using a notched trowel. To ensure good contact with the adhesive bed, place the tiles firmly. The application should take place within the specified working time of the tile adhesive. It is recommended to leave a minimum space of 2mm between each tile. Use a damp cloth to remove excess adhesive from the tile surface before the material has set.

SHELF LIFE

12 Months from date of manufacture when stored under warehouse conditions in original unopened packaging. Extreme temperature / humidity may reduce shelf life.

Ressi TA 2K is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.
