Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C is cement based water resistant decorative thin applied plaster which is ideal for use on concrete / Plastered walls and ceilings. It fills fine pores of plaster and concrete and provides a smooth and dry surface. Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C is an ideal Fine Plaster to be used in combination with Ressi PlastoRend 120, Insulaster, Conventional Plaster of good quality or any other base plaster material by Ressichem Prior to finishing it. Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C is suitable for many mineral based backgrounds and plasters Further paints and Wallpapers can be applied over Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C if needed.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove all loose particles, dust, oil, grease, and any other material which may result in poor adhesion from the substrate. The surface required for the application of Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C is usually a concrete levelled surface or a levelled plastered surface. It is essential to have a levelled base plaster surface prior to the application of Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C to avoid level waves in the finished product if a smooth and levelled surface is required.
PRODUCT PREPARATION
It is important that water is premeasured in accordance with the amount of material used. Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive and clean. Only potable water should be used for mixing. If certain shades of the material are required which are not standardized by Ressichem, certain oxides and pigments can be added by the applicator on site to make a shade, however consistent dosage and water proportions are essential to maintain stable colors of the products. Ressichem Does not take any responsibility for color variations which may occur based on the addition of external pigments in its materials.
APPLICATION
Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C is applied onto the prepared surface using a painter’s knife, Steel trowel or appropriate tools used to achieve the desired thickness of 1mm and above and finish of the product. Ressi DecoRend 20,000 C is not a brush applied material. It is recommended to build up the thickness of this material layer by layer. The total thickness of one coat should be limited to no more than 2mm. Multiple coats can be applied.
