Max Flo SP 802 is a high range water reducing admixtures specifically designed for producing high slump, flowing concrete in hot climates. It is based on selected sulphonated napthalene polymers and is a powerful de-flocculent.

    STANDARD

    ASTM C 494 Type B, D and G, BS EN 934-2

    USES

Max Flo SP 802 can be used for various concrete applications. Recommended for large concrete pours and where higher slump retention is needed. A significant water reducing agent and promotes strength gain at all ages of concrete.

    ADVANTAGES

    • High slump concrete for congested areas
    • Good workability retention
    • Increase durability by reducing permeability
    • Water reduction of more than 20%
    • No excessive air entrainment
    • Chloride free and safe for use in pre-stressed and reinforced concrete.

    TYPICAL PROPERTIES 25°C

    Property Test Method Value
    Component Single
    Form Liquid
    Color Brown
    Specific Gravity ASTM C 494 1.20 +/- 0.02
Air Entrainment ASTM C 231 Up to 1% over control Mix
Chloride Content BSEN 480-10 Nil to BSEN 934-2
    pH ASTM C 494 7-9

    Typical results under laboratory conditions.

Results may vary as per site and usage conditions

    COMPATIBILIYT

Max Flo SP 802 can be used with all types of cements and cementitious materials like fly ash, GGBS, micro silica etc. Max Flo SP 802 should not be premixed with other admixtures unless recommended by Ressichem Technician.

    DOSAGE

Recommended dosage is 0.5% – 3.0% by weight of cementitious material. Higher dosage can be used after verification by conducting lab and site trials.

    EFFECT OF OVERDOSING

Overdosing may result in higher workability and delay in setting. If intentionally or accidentally, dosage used is above the recommended dosages, care must be taken to allow for the effect on the stripping time of formwork. In such cases, provided the concrete is properly cured, the ultimate strength will generally be higher than the regular concrete. The effects of overdosing are increased when sulphate resistant cement is used in the concrete mixes because of the chemical nature of the cement as compared to that of OPC.

    PACK SIZE

Available in 1 Liter, 5 Liters, 10 Liters, 15 Liters, 25 Liters and 200 Liters of packaging.

    DISPENSING

Max Flo SP 802 should be dispensed directly into the concrete mixer together with mixing water.

    SHELF LIFE

12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under cool and dry warehouse conditions in original unopened packaging. Extreme temperature and humidity may reduce shelf life.

    HEALTH AND SAFETY

This product is considered as non-hazardous and safe for transportation. Suitable masks and gloves can be worn during application. Contact with skin should be avoided. Refer to product MSDS for further health and safety information.
