Zepoxy RER 6006 is a low viscosity, modified DGEBA resin recommended for room temperature casting. Zepoxy REH 7269 is a low viscosity polyamine hardener suitable for ambient temperature curing. The hardener is highly reactive and should not be used beyond the recommended mixing ratio. It is sensitive to humidity and must be stored in tightly closed containers.

When fully cured, the system possesses excellent electrical insulation properties and high mechanical strength. It adheres strongly to inserts, providing a leak-proof barrier to humidity and offering excellent protection to sensitive components during encapsulation.

APPLICATION

This system is recommended for potting, casting, or encapsulation of small low-voltage electrical and electronic components.

CASTING MIX PREPARATION METHOD

Preheat filler at 150–200°C for 24 hours and cool to ambient temperature. Add the desired quantity of filler into resin and mix thoroughly at room temperature. This premix can be stored for a longer period. Add hardener to the premix at room temperature just before pouring into the mould.
