Zepoxy RER 128 Y

Zepoxy RER 128 Y is an unmodified liquid epoxy resin based on bisphenol-A. It has a medium viscosity and is di-functional in nature. These properties give this resin a wide number of uses and hence make it the most commercially used general-purpose resin. It has good adhesion, chemical resistance, heat resistance, water resistance and impact resistance properties.

APPLICATIONS

Zepoxy RER 128Y can be cured with various hardeners (polyamide, amidoamine, cycloaliphatic polyamine, aliphatic polyamine, phenalkamine and anhydride). Depending on the hardener, diluents, fillers and other additives, different physical properties after curing are achieved. Generally, Zepoxy RER 128 Y is available in a clear liquid form and is generally used in many fields such as:

• Paints: Electrodeposition coating, Ambient curing coating, Clear coating, Anti-corrosion coating
• Electrical and Electronic fields: Casting, Dipping, Encapsulation, Laminates, Condenser and Resistor coating
• Civil Construction and Buildings: Cementing concrete structure, Waterproofing, Anti-corrosion road pavement, Repair bond for joint, Grouting material
• Adhesive: Metal, Glass, Wood, and Stone adhesives
• Filament winding, Glass fiber reinforcement resin
• Stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride
