    PRODUCT  APPLICATION

As a Bonding slurry Coat: As per recommended dosage, Add Ressi SBR 5850 to premeasured quantity of water in a suitable container and stir well. Add cement slowly and mix well using a slow speed drill machine fitted with a paddle mixer.
As an Additive: It is recommended that a forced action mixer or a low-speed drill fitted with a paddle should be used. Weigh the cement and sand where required into the mixer and dry blend together for one minute. With the machine in operation, add the premixed Ressi SBR 5850 and clean water. Continue mixing for 3 munities to ensure complete dispersal into the sand cement mix. Make any small adjustment to the quantity of clean water but do not significantly exceed the dosage shown below. Mix until homogenous material is obtained

    COVERAGE

As a neat bonding agent: 5-7 m²/ Ltr/Coat. Actual coverage depends on texture and porosity of substrate. As an additive for the tile adhesives, bedding mortars, Sand-cement renders, plasters and screeds, the dosage may vary from 10 to 20% by weight of cement. If incorporated in a mix design, the recommended mix design should be followed for optimum result.

    PACK SIZE

Ressi SBR 5850 is available in the following packaging:
    1 KG, 5 KG, 15 KG, 25 KG, 200 KG and 1000 KG Containers.

    PRODUCT PRESERVATION

Ressi SBR 5850 is preserved against bacterial and fungal attack. In the manufacture of finished product, the material must be retreated, as usual, with suitable biocides to give enhanced preservation.

    SHELF LIFE

12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under warehouse conditions in original unopened packing. Extreme temperature/humidity may reduce shelf life.

    CLEANING

Clean all equipment and tools with water immediately after use. Hardened material can be removed mechanically.

    HEALTH & SAFETY

Ressi SBR 5850 is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.

SBR Chemical

SBR Chemical (or Styrene Butadiene Rubber) is a bonding agent, which helps to bind concrete and cementitious mortars. It is widely popular as SBR Latex and used as an additive for concrete and mortar.

There are several other uses for this chemical and in many cases it is mixed with cement to be used for construction joints, people also use a mixture of SBR and cement as a coating material, however there can also be better options for this such as the application of a proper 2 component latex based material such as Ressichem Water Guard 491 or Water Guard 5010.

In addition, it also serves as a filler additive for the grouting of the tiles. Ressichem is the leading manufacturer of a variety of chemicals and construction related materials.

SBR chemical in Pakistan and its Ressi SBR 5850 along with Ressi SBR 5840 has a unique demand in the construction industry for improving the properties of cement renders, screeds and mortars and many other cementitious mixes.
