Ressi PFS 620
A cementitious self-levelling pourable high slump, high strength floor screed which is suitable for most high traffic and high impact areas. The application thickness is between 12mm to 25mm in a single layer. Multiple layers of this material can be applied to make the floor level or to achieve a certain floor level. Provides an ideal substrate to apply subsequent layers of thin self-levelling compounds and other materials such as tiles, vinyl, high build epoxy systems and so on.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The quality of the existing floor is a major factor in deciding the strength of Ressi PFS 620. The floor or the bed on which the material is to be laid must be solid, free of dust, grease, and loose materials. If the surface is covered with cement film or has weak parts, these should be removed completely and cleaned prior to the application of Ressi PFS 620. Any loose particles or foreign matters on the application surface may result in debonding of the screed or hollow sounds.
PRODUCT PREPARATION
For manual application, Mix Ressi PFS 620 in a clean bucket with the correct amount of water. The material mixed for 1-2 minutes until it is of smooth, consistent & even. The mortar powder should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive and clean. Only potable water should be used for mixing. It is also recommended that the material should be mechanically mixed with a mortar mixer or pumped using a floor-screed mixing and pouring machine.
APPLICATION
Ressi PFS 620 should be applied across the width of the floor or the panel it is being poured over. A notched trowel can be used for an even distribution of the material into the corners. For application over large areas, it is recommended to use a mixer / pump for the application of Ressi PFS 620. If a finished color floor is required in one go, Ressi Hardener (Color Hardener) can be sprinkled over the surface using a dry shake sprinkle method and finished with suitable finishing tools. It is also recommended to give suitable expansion joints to break the screed to avoid cracks forming over the floor. It is recommended that the panel sizing should not exceed over 100 Square feet especially for large span areas, however based on site conditions, samples should be approved for large span applications.
SURFACE TREATMENT
When Ressi PFS 620 is applied and the instructed drying times followed (28 Days) - the laid flooring can be covered with a variety of flooring products e.g., Carpet, Vinyl, ceramic tiles, flooring epoxy, various waterproofing coatings etc. Ressi PFS When applied in a proper slope can also be left bare over exposed areas such as roof tops, balconies, and other outdoor areas. Ressi PFS 620 is also an Ideal floor screed to be used in a variety of waterproofing solutions given by Ressichem.
