SURFACE PREPARATION
The quality of the existing floor is a major factor in deciding the strength of Ressi PFS 620. The floor or the bed on which the material is to be laid must be solid, free of dust, grease, and loose materials. If the surface is covered with cement film or has weak parts, these should be removed completely and cleaned prior to the application of Ressi PFS 620. Any loose particles or foreign matters on the application surface may result in debonding of the screed or hollow sounds.

APPLICATION
Ressi PFS 620 is applied across the width of the floor or the panel it is being poured over. A notched trowel can be used for an even distribution of the material into the corners. For application over large areas. If a color finished floor is required in one go, Ressi Hardener (Color Hardener) can be sprinkled over the surface using a dry shake sprinkle method and finished with suitable finishing tools. It is also recommended to give suitable expansion joints to break the screed to avoid cracks forming over the floor. It is recommended that the panel sizing should not exceed over 100 Square feet especially for large span areas.
SURFACE TREATMENT
When Ressi PFS 620 is applied and the instructed drying times followed (28 Days) - the laid flooring can be covered with a variety of flooring products e.g., Carpet, Vinyl, ceramic tiles, flooring epoxy, various waterproofing coatings etc. Ressi PFS When applied in a proper slope can also be left bare over exposed areas such as roof tops, balconies, and other outdoor areas. This product is also an ideal floor screed to be used in a variety of waterproofing solutions given by Ressichem.
