Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus
A solvent loaded economical pigmented epoxy coating material mainly designed for concrete and cementitious surfaces of both floors and walls. Based on diluted Bisphenol A based Resins and Diluted Polyamide based curing agent. The recommended thickness for Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus is from 50 to 200 microns in a single coat. Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus is also suitable for a variety of substrates such as wood, metal, fiberglass and selected plastics. Its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties make it an ideal coating for vertical wall applications for hospitals and other health care facilities.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Steel: The base metal should be roughened and preferably shot-blasted with grit. Where shot blasting is not possible, pre-treatment may be carried out using tap hammers, rotary wire brushes, or flame scaling. Cleaning with solvent or strong detergent is advisable to ensure the surface is free from grease, oil, paint, and other contaminants. Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus must be applied before oxidation of steel occurs. Surface defects revealed by the blasting process should be treated using compatible repair mortar from the Ressichem patch series.
CONCRETE / CEMENTITIOUS SURFACES
Concrete and cementitious surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from mold, oil, curing compound, dirt, grease, or excessive laitance. The surface should be prepared mechanically to provide an open-pore profile. Cracks, pinholes, and potholes should be repaired using epoxy-based fillers from the Ressichem range. The surface must be leveled and roughened for uniform coating. Undulated floors can be repaired using floor repair materials from Ressichem. All internal corners should be coved with compatible epoxy materials. Sharp edges must be rounded off. New concrete must be at least 28 days old and have a moisture content below 5%.
MIXING
Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus is supplied in pre-measured packs. Base and hardener should be stirred separately before mixing. Transfer the base into a mixing container and mix for one minute. Add the hardener and mix using a slow-speed drill (≤600 rpm) with a paddle mixer for two minutes. Scrape the sides and bottom of the container and continue mixing for another minute until a uniform blend is achieved.
APPLICATION
Apply Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus using a suitable squeegee, stiff nylon brush, or roller. Work the material into the surface to ensure complete absorption. Finish with a medium-to-long nap roller. Ensure the required application rate for the minimum dry film thickness. Spray application is also suitable for consistent DFT. Apply at least two coats for optimal performance. Inspect between coats for pinholes or cavities, filling them as necessary. Apply the second coat at right angles to the first and preferably in a contrasting color.
For large water tank areas under high pressure, reinforcement with 3 coats and fiberglass mesh is recommended. Consult Ressichem for technical details.
LIMITATIONS
At higher temperatures, pot life will be reduced. For work below 5°C, Ressi EPO Roll Coat Plus containers should be warmed in a hot water bath before use.

COVERAGE
Approximately 80 SFT per coat @ 100 micron thickness. Actual coverage may vary based on substrate porosity, texture, and site conditions. A small test area is recommended to estimate actual coverage.
SHELF LIFE
12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in dry, sheltered conditions in unopened packaging. Extreme temperature or humidity may reduce shelf life.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Wear gloves, goggles, and suitable masks during handling. Do not reuse containers. Dispose of materials as per local regulations. Refer to the product MSDS for detailed safety information.
