Ressi SBR 5840
Ressi SBR 5840 is a ready-for use aqueous dispersion of a styrene-butadiene co-polymer with stability against electrolytes. It contains anionic/non-ionic emulsifier system and is free from film forming aids, solvents, plasticizers, and ammonia. Ressi SBR 5840 is primarily designed to meet cost constraints of projects. It is a dilution of pure SBR emulsion in water modified with a thickener.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
As a Bonding slurry Coat: As per recommended dosage, Add Ressi SBR 5840 to premeasured quantity of water in a suitable container and stir well. Add cement slowly and mix well using a slow speed drill machine fitted with a paddle mixer.
As an Additive: It is recommended that a forced action mixer or a low-speed drill fitted with a paddle should be used. Weigh the cement and sand where required into the mixer and dry blend together for one minute. With the machine in operation, add the premixed Ressi SBR 5840 and clean water. Continue mixing for 3 munities to ensure complete dispersal into the sand cement mix. Make any small adjustment to the quantity of clean water but do not significantly exceed the dosage shown below. Mix until homogenous material is obtained.
COVERAGE
As a neat bonding agent: 5-7 m²/ Ltr/Coat. Actual coverage depends on texture and porosity of substrate. As an additive for the tile adhesives, bedding mortars, Sand-cement renders, plasters and screeds, the dosage may vary from 10 to 20% by weight of cement. If incorporated in a mix design, the recommended mix design should be followed for optimum result.
PACK SIZE
Ressi SBR 5840 is available in the following packaging:
1 KG, 5 KG, 15 KG, 25 KG, 200 KG and 1000 KG Containers.
PRODUCT PRESERVATION
Ressi SBR 5840 is preserved against bacterial and fungal attack. In the manufacture of finished product, the material must be retreated, as usual, with suitable biocides to give enhanced preservation..
SHELF LIFE
12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under warehouse conditions in original unopened packing. Extreme temperature/humidity may reduce shelf life.
CLEANING
Clean all equipment and tools with water immediately after use. Hardened material can be removed mechanically.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Ressi SBR 5840 is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.
