Zepoxy 150

Zepoxy 150 is an all-purpose high viscosity epoxy adhesive useful for bonding of materials such as metal, wood, ceramic, concrete, textile, glass, leather, etc. It has a higher viscosity compared to Zepoxy 100 which gives it higher tack and solvent-cutting power (in case of coatings), its adhesion and mechanical properties are superior as well.

    TECHNICAL DATA

    Property Test Method Result
Appearance Part A Visual High viscosity, clear to light yellow liquid
Appearance Part B Visual High viscosity, yellow to brown liquid
    Mix ratio (Part A: Part B) Theoretical 100: 80
    *Mix viscosity @ 25°C ASTM D 2196 30,000 – 45,000 cPs
    *Flash Point ASTM D 93 >135°C
    *Pot life (300g mix) @ 30°C 40m @ 30⁰C
    *Gel time (18g mix) @ 30°C 2h 30m @ 30⁰C
    *Hardening time 24 hours
    *Full Cure 7 days
    *Flexural Strength ASTM D 790 55.9 MPa
    *Compressive Strength – Yield ASTM D 695 63.7 MPa
    *Compressive Strength – Ultimate ASTM D 695 97.5 MPa

These are typical results under laboratory conditions.

    NOTE

At 40°C gel time will be reduced to half, in case of increased temperatures, pouring should be planned accordingly.

Product Description
Zepoxy Tabletop Deep Pour is a retarded clear epoxy casting system, which offers a long open time for precise article placement and complete bubble removal. It has inbuilt UV inhibitors as well as excellent visual properties. It also avoids high exothermic reaction and the resulting shrinkage after curing.
