    ADVANTAGES of Ressi SLS 610

    • Good weather resistance.
    • High durability.
    • Easy to use by simply adding water.
    • Premixed material to ensure good consistent quality and mix.
    • Promotes cleaner and safer sites.

    SURFACE PREPARATION

The quality of the existing floor is the deciding factor of the strength of SLS 610. The floor should be solid, free of dust, grease, and loose material. If the surface is covered with a cement film or has weak parts, these will be needed to be removed by shot blasting, diamond grinding or similar. Loose material is best removed with a vacuum cleaner, where grease etc. on concrete, painted surfaces, old tiles and similar is to be cleaned with a suitable cleaning agent.

    PRODUCT PREPARATION

For Manual application, Mix SLS 610 in a clean bucket with the correct amount of water. The material is mixed for 1-2 minutes until it is of smooth and even consistency. The mortar powder should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive and clean. For larger areas and speedy application is recommended to use a continuous mixer and pouring mechanism to achieve best and consistent results. Only potable water should be used for mixing. It is also recommended that material should be mechanically mixed with a mortar mixer or other mechanical mixing methods to obtain a consistent lump free mix.

    APPLICATION

Ressi SLS 610 is applied on the floor across the width of the area. Use a notched trowel for an even distribution of the material into the corners. If a thin layer is to be obtained, a notched trowel can also be used for that. For the application of large surfaces, it is highly recommended to use a mixer/pump for the application of Ressi SLS 610. If a colored finished floor is required in one go, Ressi Hardener (color hardener) can be sprinkled over the surface using a dry shake sprinkle method and then finished with suitable finishing tools.

    SURFACE TREATMENT

When SLS 610 is applied and the instructed drying times followed – the laid flooring can be covered with a variety of flooring products e.g., carpet, vinyl, ceramic tiles, flooring epoxy, various waterproofing coatings etc

    PRIMING

Once the flooring of Ressi SLS 610 has been laid and proper strength of the material is achieved after 28 days a variety of subsequent treatments can be done over it. All primers which are cement compatible can be applied over the prepared surface of Ressi SLS 610. Incase an epoxy flooring system is applied, Ressi EPO Primer is a suitable primer which is recommended.

    CURING

No curing required in general, however maximum curing for 72 hours where hot climatic conditions prevail.

    SHELF LIFE

Expiration of Ressi SLS 610 is at 6 months after production date under dry and sheltered conditions.
