Water Guard L 100

Water Guard L 100 is a high solids aqueous dispersion of an acrylic ester-styrene copolymer. The dispersion contains an anionic emulsifier system and is free from film forming aids, solvents, plasticizers, and ammonia. It is specifically designed to be mixed with Ordinary Portland cement to achieve a thick paste form liquid to be used as a brush applied coat to achieve watertight properties for concrete, plaster, block, and static cementitious surfaces.

APPLICATION

The above minimum film forming temperature of WG L 100 forms a clear tacky film. WG L 100 is a soft styrene acrylic dispersion exhibiting good compatibility with cement for use as elastomeric component in cementitious mortars. Water Guard L 100 is especially predestinated for use as a cement additive to form waterproof membranes.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

It is recommended to use 1 part Water Guard L 100 and 2 Parts cement. The Ratio can be adjusted, and water can be added according to the properties required in the mixed slurry form. Increasing the polymer liquid in the ratio will improve the flexibility and waterproofing properties of the mix.

SHELF LIFE

12 months from date of manufacture when stored under warehouse conditions in original un-opened packing. Extreme temperature / humidity may reduce shelf life.

Water Guard L 100 is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.
