Ressi Gyps O might 9000

Ressi GypsOmight 9000 is a gypsum-based premix plaster to be used for the internal plastering of walls & ceilings. Ressi GypsOmight 9000 is an ideal substrate for paint, wallpaper tiles and many other various finishes. It has a good off-white color finish and can be left bare. Ressi GypsOmight 9000 can easily be applied with a suitable plastering machine or by hand in accordance with BS EN 13914-2. Ressi GypsOmight 9000 is an internal use product only and should not be used on external walls exposed to UV rays and other harsh environmental elements. Ressi GypsOmight 9000 has an extraordinary smooth finish.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All loose particles of dust & oil shall be cleaned off the surface prior to application. For hot climatic conditions, the surface may be dampened with potable water. Over RCC & smooth concrete surfaces, it is recommended to coat Ressi BRC 7000 before commencing the job for plastering.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

For manual application, it is important that water is premeasured in accordance with the amount of material used. The mortar powder should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive and clean. Only potable water should be used for mixing. It is also recommended that material should be mechanically mixed with a mortar mixer or other mechanical mixing methods to obtain a consistent lump free mix.

APPLICATION

With proper surface preparation and mixing of the material, conventional plastering techniques may be used to apply Ressi GypsOmight 9000. For speedy application, it is strongly recommended to spray the material using a Plastering pump suitable for gypsum plaster for higher output of work. Ressi GypsOmight should be applied at a maximum application thickness of 12mm in a single layer. If the application exceeds 12mm subsequent layers can be applied once the base layer has dried and finished off as desired.
