It fills fine pores of plaster and concrete and provides a smooth and dry surface essential for painting. Paint Guard 10,000 C is an ideal putty to be used in combination with Ressi PlastoRend 120, Insulaster or any other plaster material by Ressichem Prior to finishing it for paint. Paint Guard 10,000 C is suitable for many mineral based backgrounds and plasters as well prior to the application of paint and wallpaper.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove all loose particles, dust, oil, grease, and any other material which may result in poor adhesion from the substrate. The surface required for the application of Paint Guard 10,000 C is usually a concrete levelled surface or a levelled plastered surface.
PRODUCT PREPARATION
it is important that water is premeasured in accordance with the amount of material used. Paint Guard 10,000 C should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive and clean. Only potable water should be used for mixing.
APPLICATION
Paint Guard 10,000 C is applied onto the prepared surface using a painters knife, Steel trowel or appropriate tools used to achieve the desired thickness and finish of the product. Paint Guard 10,000 C is not a brush applied material. It is recommended to build up the thickness of the putty layer by layer. The total thickness of one coat should be limited to no more than 2mm. Multiple coats can be applied.

CURING
No curing required in general, however if temperature during application exceed 40°C, curing for 48 Hours is recommended.
SHELF LIFE
Expiration of Paint Guard 10,000 C is at 6 months after production date under dry and sheltered conditions.

Paint Guard 10,000 C is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.
