Ressi Rustof CC
Ressi Rustof CC is a single-component acidic formulation designed to chemically convert existing
rust (hydrated ferric oxide) on steel surfaces into a stable, inert, black ferric complex compound.
It contains specialized reactive agents that penetrate rust layers and form a dense, adherent conver
sion film, temporarily stabilizing the corroded surface and providing a sound base for subsequent
coating applications.

RECOMMENDED USES
- Maintenance of light to moderately rusted steel surfaces where blasting is impractical
- Industrial, fabrication, agricultural, and general maintenance applications
- Use as a pre-treatment before applying a compatible primer or coating system
- Not recommended for: structural steel, immersed or continuously wet environments
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove all loose rust, mill scale, oil, grease, and dirt by wire brushing, scraping, or power tool cleaning
- Surface must be dry and free from loosely adhering material
- Best results are achieved on firmly adhering rust, not on bare or heavily corroded steel
- Avoid application over oily or greasy substrates
APPLICATION
- Apply by brush, roller, or spray
- Use as supplied – thinning is not recommended
- At 25°C, coating becomes touch dry within 60–90 minutes
- Clean tools immediately after use with a suitable thinner
- After rust conversion, apply a compatible primer over the surface
COMPATIBILITY
- Compatible with alkyd, epoxy, and polyurethane primers after full cure
- Do not apply zinc-rich primers directly over unwashed converter residues
- If required, wipe surface lightly with a clean damp cloth to remove unreacted acid before overcoating

Store in original unopened containers under recommended warehouse conditions.

Ressi RustOff – CC contains acidic and flammable solvents. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes.
Wear protective gloves, goggles, and clothing, and ensure good ventilation during use.
In case of contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice if irritation occurs.
