Max Flo SP 802 (Powder)

Max Flo SP 802 (Powder) is a powerful admixture specifically designed for producing high slump concrete in hot climates. It is based on selected sulphonated napthalene polymers and is a powerful de-flocculent.

USES

Max Flo SP 802 (Powder) may be used in tunnel linings, dams, power plants, highways, ports and other large project where high performance concrete is required. A substantial water reducing agent, it is used for promoting high early and ultimate strength.

COMPATIBILITY

Max Flo SP 802 (Powder) can be used with all types of cement and cementitious materials such as fly ash, GGBS, and micro silica. It should not be pre-mixed with other admixtures.

DOSAGE

Recommended dosage is 0.25 – 1.5% by weight of cementitious material. Higher dosages may be used after verification through laboratory and site trials.

EFFECT OF OVERDOSING

Overdosing may result in higher workability and delayed setting. In such cases, allow for extended formwork stripping time. Proper curing ensures that ultimate strength is generally higher than regular concrete.

NOTE

Max Flo SP 802 (Powder) can be mixed with water directly to form an admixture solution that can be used as per recommended dosage and concentration of the powder. The recommended dosage should be as per the powdered dosage as mentioned in the dosage section of this datasheet. It is always recommended to conduct a trial before dosages and dosing methodology is defined.

SHELF LIFE

12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in cool and dry warehouse conditions in the original unopened packaging. Extreme temperatures and humidity may reduce shelf life.

This product is considered non-hazardous and safe for transportation. Suitable masks and gloves should be worn during application. Avoid contact with skin. Refer to the product MSDS for further health and safety information.
