Ressi TA FLEXI STONE 1

Ressi TA Flexi Stone 1 is a high-performance, ready-to-use acrylic polymer emulsion adhesive specifically engineered for the installation of flexible stone veneers and lightweight façade cladding systems. Formulated with advanced polymer technology, it provides superior adhesion, high flexibility, and excellent weather resistance, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including demanding façade conditions. The product is designed to ensure strong bonding between polymer-backed flexible stone sheets and cementitious or board-based substrates, while accommodating thermal movement and structural vibrations.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Substrate must be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, or loose particles Ensure surface is level and structurally sound. All necessary surface repairs, including crack filling or substrate restoration, must be completed prior to application of the adhesive. Ressichem offers a range of suitable crack fillers and repair compounds, including non-shrink cementitious grouts, specifically designed for surface preparation and repair.

APPLICATION

The adhesive should be applied using a notched trowel with a notch size of 3–6 mm, ensuring an even and uniform spread over the prepared substrate. Once applied, the flexible stone sheet should be carefully positioned onto the adhesive bed and pressed firmly into place using a roller or consistent hand pressure. It is essential to achieve a minimum of 90–100% contact coverage between the adhesive and the stone backing to ensure proper bonding. Care must be taken to eliminate any air pockets or voids behind the sheet, as these may compromise adhesion and long-term performance.

SHELF LIFE

12 Months from date of manufacture when stored under warehouse conditions in original unopened packaging. Extreme temperature / humidity may reduce shelf life.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Ressi TA Flexi Stone 1 is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.

NOTE

Prior to the use of Ressi TA Flexi Stone 1, A compatibility test should be conducted prior to application and recommendation of the material. Since this is a water-based material, the viscosity of the material can be adjusted as per site requirement by adding potable water to the mix.

If printed buckets are not available, neutral buckets with label. Lot number and manufacturing date to be stamped at the back of each bucket.
