Ressi TG Bath Seal 2K is a 2-component cement based chemical resistant tile gout specifically designed for the purpose of resisting acid, bleach, and chemicals of mild to low acidic and alkaline nature. Ressi TG Bath Seal 2K is specially designed for areas such as bathrooms, living Rooms, commercial and residential spaces where there is a problem of the discoloration of Tile grouts due to heavy use of chemicals for cleaning and dirt and grit due to walking. Ressi TG Bath Seal 2K makes the grouted surface resistant to a variety of chemicals and makes it easy to clean.

    SURFACE PREPARATION

    Joints receiving grouts should be clean, free from standing water, grease, loosely adhering particles, etc. cement laitance should be removed by mechanical means. Slightly dampen the joint surface prior to grouting.

    MIXING

    The premeasured quantities of powder and polymer should be mixed, and water should be added to achieve a lump free homogenous mix. Do not rework stiff material by adding more water. Mix sufficient material to be used within 30 minutes

    APPLICATION

    Ressi TG Bath Seal 2K should be worked into the tile joints using a spatula. Ensure that the grout is well compacted. Excess material on the surface of the tile should be removed using a dry cloth before the material hardens. Grouting should be commenced only after the tile adhesive has attained sufficient strength.

    CURING

    For uniform curing of color grout, allow to air cure for 72 hours. Do not use water for curing.

    SHELF LIFE

    Expiration of Ressi TG 2K is at 12 months after production date under dry and sheltered conditions.

    Ressi TG 2K is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse bags or containers and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.
