Ressi SC 310

Ressi SC 310 is a ready to use skim coat plaster for a thin coat application on a rough plastered surface or a rough finished surface of Ressi PlastoRend 120 to provide a fine smooth finish leaving the surface ready to receive paint or wallpaper. Ressi SC 310 is ideal for internal and external application. Ressi SC 310 can easily be applied with a suitable plastering machine or by hand in accordance with BS EN 13914-1 & BS EN 13914-2. Ressi SC 310 can also be used as a decorative plaster and has a smooth velvety finish to the touch and can be used as an ideal smooth finished plaster with varying shade of colors and a cloudy effect colored feel.

    SURFACE PREPARATION

    All loose particles of dust and oil shall be cleaned off the surface prior to application. For hot climatic conditions, the surface may be dampened with potable water. The rough Plastered surface must be leveled prior to the application of Ressi SC 310.

    PRODUCT PREPARATION

    For manual application it is important that water is premeasured in accordance with the amount of material used. The mortar powder should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive and clean. Only potable water should be used for mixing. It is also recommended that material should be mechanically mixed with a mortar mixer or other mechanical mixing methods to obtain a consistent lump free mix. Incase of manual mixing it is essential to add the same amount of water in each bag to achieve color consistency.

    APPLICATION

    With proper surface preparation and mixing of the material, manual application techniques can be used to apply Ressi SC 310. However, for speedy application it is strongly recommended to do proper surface preparation and spray the material using a plastering / rendering spray machine for higher output of work.
