Max Flo SP 900 (Powder) is a highly effective water reducing Superplasticizer and an extremely powerful de-flocculating powered admixture based on polymeric napthalene sulphonate.

    STANDARD

    ASTM C494, Type F, BS EN 934-2

    USES

Max Flo SP 900 (Powder) is used to produce flowing concrete in congested areas, slabs, and foundations, large pours, beams, columns, and precast elements. It can also be used where substantial water reduction is required to provide high early and ultimate strengths e.g., precast factories, prestressed concrete, bridges, shotcreting, etc.

    ADVANTAGES

    • Substantial increase in workability without additional water.
    • Normal setting without retardation.
    • Exceptionally good early strength.
    • Significant strength increase.
    • Increased production in precast yards.
    • Better surface finish.
    • Durable resistance to wear and abrasion.
    • Chloride free.
    • Reduced shrinkage and creep.
    • Suitable for hot climates.

    COMPATIBILIYT

Max Flo SP 900 (Powder) can be used with all types of cements and cementitious materials like fly ash, GGBS, micro silica etc. It should not be pre-mixed with other admixtures unless recommended by Ressichem Technician.

    DOSAGE

Recommended dosage is 0.5 – 1.5 % by weight of cementitious material. Optimum dosage of Max Flo SP 900 (Powder) and effect of concrete properties such workability, strength, setting tie, etc. are best assessed after preliminary tests on site using the actual material of mixes under consideration.

    EFFECT OF OVERDOSING

Overdosing may result in higher workability and delay in setting. If intentionally or accidentally, dosage used is above the recommended dosages, care must be taken not allow for the effect on the striping of formwork. In such cases, provide the concrete is properly cured the ultimate strength will generally be higher than the regular concrete.

    PACK SIZE

Available in 2KG and 20KG Packs.

    NOTE

Max Flo SP 900 (Powder) can be mixed with water directly to form an admixture solution that can be used as per recommended dosage and concentration of the powder. The recommended dosage should be as per the powdered dosage as mentioned in the dosage section of this datasheet. It is always recommended to conduct a trial before dosages and dosing methodology is defined

    SHELF LIFE

12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under cool and dry warehouse conditions in original unopened packaging. Extreme temperature and humidity may reduce shelf life.

    HEALTH AND SAFETY

This product is considered as non-hazardous and safe for transportation. Suitable masks and gloves can be worn during application. Contact with skin should be avoided. Refer to product MSDS for further health and safety information.
